We've got multiple sets of traditional tongs, in all sizes, in our kitchen and they are used quite a lot. For the most part, they're fine for what we use them for (tossing, turning, etc.).
I never knew what I was missing until I tried this set of spatula tongs. They just make every action (tossing, turning, grasping) better and easier.
I find myself reaching for them, instead of the traditional tongs, almost every time. They have become one of the most-used utensils in our kitchen.
They are especially great for pancakes, steaks, burgers and the like. They actually work better than our flipping tool.
We don't have a dishwasher but these are easily cleaned by hand.
They have little "feet" that allow you to prop them up on their side.
I've found that they provide a firm grasp and so far, nothing has slipped out, as has happened with other silicone covered tongs.
We use these spatula tongs a lot for fish. They do just fine over a hot pan, and we just toss them into the dishwasher when we're done. The tongs also have a lever to push and pull to keep the open or close to make storage easier. Helpful addition to anyone's kitchen.
I suffer from Essential Tremor and kept tossing food from the frying pan to the stovetop, countertop, or the floor. These tongs have solved the problem! These tongs are really cool! They function perfectly as regular tongs while giving the option to flip/move much more food at one time. They are dishwasher safe, which is a necessity for me. The price includes two sets of tongs, one large and one medium sized. The price is pretty great for two pairs of quality tongs. The tongs can also be locked in the “closed” position, making them easy to store.

Once I got them I tossed them in the dishwasher for a good cleaning. Then, I just used these for the first time today to make some eggs for breakfast. The best part was how the silicone easily and smoothly slide on my cast iron pan and under my egg. I think these tongs will also work for things like serving salads and such.
These are nice tongs. The thing in between really helps to grab things while cooking. It is a little awkward to use at first and takes some getting used to, but once you have used them a couple times its smooth sailing. I find myself reaching for these all the time while cooking! We are so obsessed with these in our house! I have a variety of tongs. Big tongs and little tongs. But sometimes I'm trying to grab something like a fall of the bone chicken thigh and traditional tongs mush it all together and it falls apart. But this combo of tong AND spatula is bloody brilliant.
Such a cool idea! My husband and I have been using these tongs for the past few weeks and they're awesome! We've used them on cast iron, ceramic, stainless steel, and non-stick pans without any issue. It did take a bit of getting used to, but after a few tries we had them down. They really make scooping and grabbing freshly cooked food so much easier! So much better than the classic metal tongs we used to have.
I will say that the tongs take some getting use to. It is nice that they come in two sizes, I have found more success using them to scoop up salad or noodles, foods like to flip over pancakes, patties, and fried eggs.The silicone is easy on your pots and pans that have a nonstick coating so that is a plus. I honestly think that I need more practice using them and will provide an update if my opinion changes.
These are the best tongs EVER! They are now used for so many things in my kitchen, from turning fried shrimp to plucking chicken. I had enough to share with my adult children for their cooking needs! LOVE THEM!!! These are great for me I have very limited mobility in one of my hands and I thought I would try these and they work perfectly! Make it so much easier to help in the kitchen and they are made very well
I got a bit of a surprise when these arrived. They fold up which is a space saver. They are also study and will probably last for years. I will get back when I actually use them.
